Rustic French Farm Kitchen Table

A late 19th century characterful old farmhouse table from Bordeaux, Western France.

Planked French poplar wood tabletop with beaded trim (small loss to one corner of trim). Some areas of interesting dimpled grain detail.

Its oak base and tapered legs are rich in colour with a great patina of time.

Single frieze drawer to one side with lovely original steel cup handle.

Some areas of historic worm, particularly on the frieze to one side. Well treated and all clear.

This table has seen some repairs and replacements over the years but is nonetheless an extremely characterful and charming old French farm kitchen table.

Solid, sturdy, freshly waxed and ready for a new home.

Comfortably seats 6-8 people.
