A fully restored early/mid 20th century workbench originating from a Lower Normandy workshop in France.
Thick planked solid beech work top with decades of heavy wear adding immense character and history. Cleated ends fixed with old industrial steel rods and bolts.
Two large deep drawers to one side offering plenty of storage. Both drawers have well-aged vintage brass cup handles.
Solid beech frame and legs with a double stretcher for added strength and stability. A handy overhang to one end being hugely practical for storing high stools under the work top.
The bench would make a super statement piece as a freestanding kitchen island or prep table.
