A pair of vintage original club armchairs from France, circa 1940.
Sympathetically restored to retain their originality and characterful patina. The leather has been treated to re-nourish and waxed to protect the colour. Any rips, tears and cracks have been well patched and strengthened to stabilise and prevent further damage.
The cushions are original and are removable, making for easy replacement if desired. Original springs and webbing with an added layer of foam for extra support. New lining under cushions.
These chairs are worn, with a life well lived and this is what gives them such beautiful character. The wear is purely on the surface with their structure being solid and sound.
