A matching pair of oak benches originating from a church in Western France, circa mid 1800s.
Beautifully rustic and well crafted with thick single plank seat and exposed tenon joints.
Super wear and patina of time.
One bench has added character from a waney edge.
Solid and damage/repair free.
Slight movement in some joints but perfectly sturdy and stable to sit.
Some minor signs of historic worm on the underside have been treated.
The perfect accompaniment to any farmhouse table.
