A matched pair of extra large andirons, or fire dogs, hand forged from wrought iron.

Sourced from Northern France on a recent European buying trip.

Thought to be 18th century.

Beautifully original and time aged.

Impressive in size, form, quality and character.

Basket style tops originally designed to hold vessels for warming would now make super candle sconces.

Each andiron has four hooked brackets rotatable by 360 degrees for hanging pots.

Solid, heavy and damage free.

Brushed, cleaned, waxed and ready to grace any fireplace of grandeur.
