Long Seamstress Table with Ten Drawers
A restored seamstress work table from Centre-Val de Loire, France, circa 1940s.
Built for use in a French fabric shop as a ten seamstress workstation, each having their own drawer.
Crafted largely from poplar wood with ten drawers and good character from decades of wear.
Four plank poplar table top, poplar drawer fronts, replacement beech wood drawer pulls and a pine base. A low level stretcher for added stability and raised feet for improved lap height.
Rustic finish with lovely light tones. An interesting and unique large family dining table with its own story.
Seats 10-12 people.
