A lovely and large late 19th century panelled coffer sourced in Belgium.

Crafted from fruitwood, thought to be cherry, which is beautifully aged and rich in colour.

Super scale and form.

Four plank top with cleated ends, patched panelled sides and ends with a boarded back.

Hinged lid with chain to secure when open.

Minor signs of wear commensurate with age. Small areas of historic worm have been fully treated and all clear.

Solid, heavy, sturdy and freshly refinished in our workshop.

This fine quality antique coffer would make a great central coffee table or blanket box.
