French Walnut Farmhouse Table with Bread Slide

A beautiful large farmhouse table circa late 19th century.

Crafted from French walnut and originating from Bordeaux.

Three plank table top with cleated ends.

Superb extending bread board or server to one end and a good size single frieze drawer with brass pull to the other.

Decoratively turned legs with later added and well crafted foot extensions to raise its height.

In original condition with a beautiful patina of time. The table's colour, character and wear are all spot on.

Surface scratches, water marks and historic worm commensurate with age.

Solid, sturdy and damage free.

Comfortable seats 10 people.
