Large Cabinetmaker's Workbench
Large Continental European cabinetmaker's workbench, from Central France, circa 1900 - 1925.
Crafted from solid oak with attracted houndstooth and dovetail joints. Original tail vice, sliding deadman and tool well. Two drawers to the front with brass flush-faced handles.
Beautifully restored with its extensive period working patina retained. Raised a touch for desired worktop height.
An excellent example of an early twentieth-century professional joiner's bench. Would suit a statement kitchen island, prep bench or retail display piece.
The top is removable for ease of access.
