A restored country dining table from Central France, circa late 19th century.
Crafted from solid cherry wood, having a planked table top, cleated ends and decoratively turned legs. Historically raised feet for improved lap height.
One end has a highly sought oak bread slide that extends to a generous 74cm and holds its weight well. To the other end is a single frieze drawer with its original decoratively turned cherry wood knob.
Beautifully rich in colour and grain detail.
Seats a family of six to eight, plus a further two with the extension.
