French Printers Typeset Cabinet

An early 20th century 25 drawer printing house cabinet from France.

Used originally in a print works to house the typesetter's steel letter blocks for poster printing.

Beautiful wear with a rich time-soaked patina. Some sun bleached drawer fronts provide a variety of hues and contrasts in colour.

Super drawer labels and type-style descriptions from differing decades of its working life. Some most likely as old as the piece itself.

25 drawers all with original cup handles and all smooth running. Some have their original partitions internally and others have been removed (see below for full list).

The cabinet has been lovingly cleaned, had a light wax to seal in the 'goodness' and is ready for use.

The perfect flat file storage for any home or art and design studio.
