Sourced from the Limousin region of Central France and likely dated to the late 19th century.
Original glass plate with some mild foxing through age.
Bronzed gilt frame with high relief floral crest to the arched top, foliage highlights and beaded border. Refinished with gilt paint and dark wax to bronze. Well textured with areas of the original gilt shining through.
Original back boards in sound condition.
For portrait hanging, either wall or overmantel, this mirror will make a huge impression on any interior.
