Original glass plate which is surprisingly clean for its age having only some minor foxing to the top and bottom edges.
A modest gilt frame with a simple decorative inner border. Some areas of damage and historic repair have been lightly remoulded and colour matched to tidy. Refinished with gilt paint and dark wax.
Original back boards in sound condition.
With new fixings for portrait hanging.
