French Farm Table with Extensions

A superbly rustic country dining table from the Bordeaux region of France, circa mid/late 1800s.

Crafted from French chestnut with a three plank tabletop.

An extra curved section for each end slides in to extend the table when needed.

A single frieze drawer to one side with its original decoratively turned knob.

In original condition with a beautiful patina of time. The table's colour, character and wear are all spot on.

Surface scratches, ring marks and historic worm commensurate with age.

Solid, sturdy, damage free and having just had a clean and light wax to finish.

Seats 8 people and 10-12 extended.

A wonderful French antique table that would grace any kitchen or dining space.
