French Cherry Farm Table
A large restored cherry wood farm table from Hauts-de-France, circa early 20th century.
Single frieze drawer to one end with its decorative wood turned drawer pull and a super extendable oak bread slide to the other. The bread slide extends to 87cm and holds its weight extremely well.
Planked cherry wood table top with cleated ends showing beautiful grain detail and wear.
Square legs with feet extensions being added at some point in its history to raise the table height.
Refinished in a semi-mat hard wax oil giving a more rustic character than a traditional antique wax finish. Its tone will become darker and richer with time.
Comfortably seats a large family of 10 people with a generous lap height for taller people.
