A superbly restored late 19th century French shop counter from Paris.

Crafted mainly from walnut, with an oak base and skirt. The walnut shows great grain detail, especially on the counter top and back panels.

Immensely quirky and characterful with a thousand stories of old. Undulant and askew with perfect imperfections.

Four drawers and a base level open shelf offering plenty of storage.

Two coin slots on the counter top lead to two till drawers below. One of which has its delightful original locking mechanism made from brass and in sound working order. The lock has a change-able combination using six touch buttons hidden in its handle. Next to the lock is also a mechanised alarm bell (not working) which would have alerted the shop owner of the cash drawer being opened.

An absolutely beautiful statement kitchen island or front of house shop counter.
