An extra large French country house scullery table.

Crafted from solid oak and originating from Normandy, circa late 19th century.

Historically used for food preparation by staff in the secondary kitchen of a French country house.

Fully restored yet retaining its history and character through wear.

Three plank solid oak table top being pinned together with industrial style iron work. Two central frieze drawers with decorative brass swing handles over chunky 'man-sized' oak legs and a mid level 'H' stretcher for added strength and stability.

Wonderfully rustic with many signs of being well used for decades of heavy chores as a workhorse.

Multiple signs of historic worm activity adding further areas of interest. Now fully treated and clear.

Beautifully restored and ready for the next 100+ years of service.
