Fruit Wood Dining Table with Bread Slide
A restored country dining table from Central France, circa late 19th century.
Crafted from solid cherry wood, having a planked table top, cleated ends and decoratively turned legs. Historically raised feet for improved lap height.
One end has a highly sought bread slide that extends to 45.5cm and holds its weight well. To the other end is a single partitioned frieze drawer with its decorative brass cup handle.
Beautiful original patina, rich in colour and grain detail.
Comfortably seats a family of eight.
