A fully restored early 20th century work bench originating from an old Normandy wood worker's workshop, France.
Crafted largely from solid beech wood and having its original vice with cast iron handle and coil in full working order.
One huge and solid plank of beech work top with a full width sunken tool/utensil trough behind. The work top is adorned with scars from a lifetime of hard graft in the workshop and certainly all the better for it. A remove-able cast iron bench dog sits in its place on the top.
Two drawers to the front and a full width low level boarded shelf.
The bench would make a super statement piece as a freestanding kitchen island or prep table.
